I have always had an appreciation for art, especially oil paintings. I can remember going to museums as a kid and being eager to see and examine the paintings. At the time I didn't give it much thought but my love of oil paintings never left. After several years in law enforcement, and even during, I found myself painting. I am blessed to have more time to paint and a greater appreciation for the gift of art. My journey has brought me to a style of painting which incorporates my Christian faith, my love of landscapes, and Tonalism.
